Cat condos are available for single cat or multi- cat families. Cat "suites" are also available. Condos are cage-like units with an upstairs and downstairs and ledges to nest in/on/and under. Suites are a full-size room (5'x 8') with a cat walk up to a window-seat ledge to look out and watch the day go by (and the birds). "Cat-TV" videos are played to entertain your cat. All cats get play time out of their condo daily in the playroom with extra attention by us. Family discounts are available. Vaccinations All pets must have current vaccinations as follows: Rabies Distemper Negative test for Feline Leukemia and/or FIV vaccination All cats must be on a Vet-prescribed type flea treatment, for example: Frontline or Advantage. A receipt from the vet or place of purchase or a copy of the product box must be provided for proof. All vaccination certificates from the vet must be forwarded one (1) week prior to check-in. Pets may not be accepted if all vaccinations are not done in the required time frame! Reservations can be made months, weeks or days ahead of time. Please call during office hours to make reservations. A deposit of half of your pet's stay is required at the time the reservation is made by credit card (MasterCard, VISA, Discover). Deposits are only refundable with a two-week cancellation notice less a $25 handling fee. You will be required to pay for days reserved unless changes are made 2 weeks prior to checking in. Check In/Out We have special check-in and check-out times to maintain a quiet, stress-free environment for our feline guests. Check in and out is by appointment. If you ever need to change dates and/or times from your scheduled contract that was set up at the time of reservation due to travel delays, we ask that you call and notify us. Because pets sense and reflect our emotions, DO NOT allow any member of the family to stage an emotional "farewell" scene. Your pets can be made to feel unnecessarily anxious about the boarding visit if they are subjected to this kind of dramatic display. Try to refrain from having more than one or two members of the family in the suites' office to check-in. While it's very hard to do, sometimes the best way is to turn over the leash to the staff and leave. Keep in mind that your pet does not have any concept of time. What you might think is a long time, is actually very short to them. Your pet thinks, and knows you will return for them. We ask that you bring your cat's own food so he/she stays on his/her own diet. We will feed them according to the instructions that you will fill out on the "Pet Profile Sheet". Food should be brought in zip-lock baggies. Please mark your pet's name on the baggies.You are also encouraged to bring your cat's favorite treat!
